TeamSnap is looking to add a contract Ruby on Rails programmer to our team. Extensive experience in Rails programming is a must. Please don't contact us if you are a beginner or a programmer in another language. We appreciate your years of experience in .NET, but our application is in Rails.
This is a part-time contract position to start, hours per month and compensation negotiable, with the possibility of full-time employment down the road. Work is off-site at the time and place of your own choosing. Ability to work during general USA business hours a plus for communication purposes.

TeamSnap is looking to add a contract designer to our team. Do you love TeamSnap and have ideas for how to make it even better? Can you work equally well in Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML and CSS? Can you extend out the existing TeamSnap brand as well as bring your own creative sensibility to the table? Do you sweat the details and understand the nuances of web applications?

The work will be split between extending out the existing TeamSnap brand on our marketing site (www.teamsnap.com) and working on interaction design within the teamsnap application. You should be skilled in extending out existing designs, but at the same time have your own ideas for ways to take design in new directions.

TeamSnap is looking for an Influencer Evangelist to help spread the word about our web service to powerful blogs, forums, writers, organizations, magazines, newsletters and other influencers.
In a nutshell, your role will be to find those people, blogs, web sites and publications that our customers follow and get TeamSnap promoted there.
This position is *not* about blasting out hundreds of form letters, but rather creating relationships with key players to help them understand what TeamSnap is and get them to mention our service to their readers. It requires a deep knowledge of our product and how it benefits our users (and by extension their readers).
The successful candidate will be organized, professional, persistent, reliable, smart and able to think strategically about public relations, marketing and social media. Strong, professional communication skills are a must.

The ultimate goal is to spread the word about TeamSnap to our potential customers, driving traffic to our site and new sign-ups.
You will work closely with TeamSnap management to develop and execute strategies for approaching influencers, and be given the tools and information you need to build relationships. Your ability to put yourself in the shoes of our customers and find the sources they follow for information is key.
It will be important to keep strong records of your ongoing work and communications so we understand what you are doing and don't overlap with other promotional efforts.
Location & Hours
This position is off-site at your own location. You may work any hours you choose, up to 20 hours per week. Occasional communication (once or twice a week) by phone during regular business hours with TeamSnap management is required.
Compensation
$12/hr to start. No benefits.
