Fairfax, VA (June 10, 2015) — The Side-Out Foundation has named TeamSnap, an online and mobile app that makes it easier to communicate with your team, plan its schedule and get everyone to the game easier, its official team management app. TeamSnap will also sponsor Side-Out’s 2015 Dig Pink® Rally, where middle/high school and college teams raise money for the Side-Out Protocol and educate their communities about breast cancer.
TeamSnap is an online and mobile tool that makes managing, coaching and participating in team sports easier by organizing and communicating up-to-the-second updates of every aspect of team life, including game schedules, practices and equipment needs. Coaches whose teams raised money through the 2014 Dig Pink® Rally will receive an extended free trial of TeamSnap’s best plan, the Ultra Plan, through October 2015; and any team that raises $1,500 or more for the 2015 Dig Pink® Rally will receive a one-year subscription to the Ultra Plan (value: $129.99).
Rick Dunetz, Side-Out’s executive director and a volleyball coach, is excited about the new partnership: “We are committed not only to funding research for stage 4 breast cancer but also to supporting coaches and advancing coaching education. TeamSnap is an extremely useful tool that will allow coaches to concentrate their efforts on training and teaching the game, and we are really excited to offer these subscriptions to Dig Pink® Rally participants.”
Eight million coaches, parents, team managers and players use TeamSnap’s web and mobile apps to save their sanity and stay in the know through email, text and instant alerts. TeamSnap tames the logistical nightmare of wrangling schedules, practices, equipment and volunteers, providing up-to-the-second info on where everyone needs to be and what they need to bring, and allows coaches to concentrate on coaching, not on organizing logistics.
“We are excited to join Side-Out in their quest to not only raise money for breast cancer research but to also support their great network of coaches across the United States,” said Ken McDonald, TeamSnap’s Chief Growth Officer. “All coaches should be honored, but those who dedicate their already-limited time to raising money for such a good cause and organization deserve special recognition, and we’re proud to be involved in giving it to them.”
