TeamSnap Has 1 Million Teams!

This has been an outstanding year for TeamSnap. Whether we’re talking about our 10 million amazing customers, our exciting new Team features or our advances in the Club & League department, there’s been a heck of a lot going on around here.
Well, we’ve got another big announcement for you: 1 million teams now use TeamSnap!
A lot has happened since we served our first team way back in 2009. To celebrate how far we’ve come, we whipped up a little timeline of TeamSnap.

The TeamSnap Timeline
May 2009 – TeamSnap is founded, and the small team management app that was in beta a couple years prior goes big time.

June 2010 – TeamSnap secures its first round of investor funding.
↓
April 2011 – We officially change our name to TeamsNap, shifting our focus from youth sports management to sleep management.
↓
December 2012 – 100,000 teams adopt TeamSnap for all their sports management needs.
↓
September 2013 – TeamSnap holds its first company retreat in Breckenridge, Colorado. Everyone misses “oxygen” at 9,600 feet elevation.

May 2014 – TeamSnap turns 5!

March 2015 – TeamSnap Live! goes live, giving mobile users the ability to communicate and share live game scores in real time.

August 2015 – Our Website Builder for Clubs & Leagues is released. The drag-and-drop interface makes it easier than ever to build a beautiful website for your club, league or organization.

November 2015 – Outside Magazine ranks TeamSnap No. 16 on their 100 Best Places to Work List.

April 2016 – TeamSnap officially serves 10 million customers.

May 2016 – TeamSnap hires its 8th employee named “Jen.” It’s been the secret to our success.

Today – 1 million teams use TeamSnap!
